Tuesday Morning Devotion 11.13.22

For today’s lesson we heard an explanation as to what evening worship is and why we should gather twice a Sunday for God’s blessings. We started with Acts 20:7-12.

Today we looked at Hebrews 10:19-25. In today’s passage the author of Hebrews expounds on the benefits of congregational worship on the Lord’s Day. He reminds us of the boldness and assurance that come to those in Christ, as expressed in our presence with God in the Holy of Holies.

Today for our Monday devotion from Bethany ARP we took a look at Luke 5:36-39 as we looked at the new wineskins and how they are made for new wine.

Today in the Wednesday devotion from Bethany ARP we heard an encouraging reminder of what it means to be a child of God. No matter our outward circumstances the Lord blesses us with the peace & comfort of His home in Jesus.

Today for our morning devotion from Bethany Church we took a look at 1 Cor. 11:1-16 and while dealing on the surface with the question of headcovering looked more deeply at Paul’s purpose in the lesson.

Our word for today was “Free Will”. In Matthew 17:12 and James 1:14 we hear Jesus and His brother testify that man is “free” in the choices that he makes, it’s the heart controller that makes all the differences in what man seeks to do with the liberty he has.
