Monday Morning Devotion 1.2.23

Good Morning,

For today’s devotion from Bethany Church we heard an encouragement from Charles Spurgeon to get to know Jesus better. It’s worth the spiritual blessing to spend time dedicated to improve our knowledge of Christ.

Today for our Monday devotion we looked at Hebrews 9:11-15 and heard more about the superiority of the priesthood of Jesus Christ and His shed blood to the temple of the old covenant.

Today we heard a word of reminder of the blessings of the covenant of grace from Psalm 111.

The world looks down on believers when we call out for Christ in weakness, but it is there where we see our resting in Jesus be the strongest blessing.

Today for our “What’s That Word” Wednesday devotion from Bethany ARP we looked at Leviticus 5:14-15 and a question which came in about the sin offering given for “unknown sins” or those done in ignorance.

The peace of the Christian is found alone in the one who has called us unto Himself. When we are drawn low by the world and our own sin we have one plea and place for hope.
