Monday Morning Devotion 2.13.23

For our Monday devotion from Bethany ARP we took a look at Ezra 3:8-13 as we saw further how wonderful the house of worship is and why in the new covenant we have even more reason to praise.

Remembering the goodness of God and the assurance found only in His promises are a great help to the facing of our day-to-day problems.

Today we looked at 1 Corinthians 3:5-17. In this morning’s passage Paul gives testimony to the nature of faith, and why it is important for believers to always look to Christ and His word to build themselves up in grace.

Today for our Tuesday devotion from Bethany Church we looked at Song of Solomon 3:1 from Charles Spurgeon on the ways we forsake Christ, yet with the needed reminder that where we “lost” Him, He is there already waiting for us.

Today for our devotion from Bethany ARP we looked at 1 Cor. 11:23-26. In this passage Paul clarifies where the Biblical warrant for the Lord’s Supper comes from and how the Church is to proceed with its observance.

Today in our devotional we looked at the advantages of life in Christ vs. the ties of the old covenant found in Moses.
