Monday Morning Devotion 3.20.23

In today’s devotion we heard a reminder that our King has won, and that we are receiving the spoils of His victory at the cross. We see this primarily in the way our enemies have no power or ability to harm us.

Today in our devotion we heard a reminder of the importance of treasuring the promises of God and pleading them in our day of trial.

For today’s Monday devotion from Bethany ARP we heard a word about the superiority of Christ’s death as the Testator to the blood of goats. Plus the dangers of using the old covenant as a template for our worship.

Today we looked at Hebrews 12:1-2. In this morning’s passage the author of Hebrews closes out the “hall of faith” by pointing to the true hero of the story upon which the righteous men of old and new ground their love for God, Jesus Christ the Righteous.

Today for our devotion from Bethany ARP we looked at Hebrews 8:1-6. In this passage the author of Hebrews reiterates what is gained by Christ being High Priest and what is lost if we maintain our faith in the old covenant.

Today in our devotion we heard an encouraging reminder of the benefits of the doctrine of adoption and our place in the family of God.
