Tuesday Morning Devotion 4.11.23

In our devotion today from Bethany ARP we heard a word from Spurgeon that is not a common thought proclaimed much from pulpits in Christian churches…Maybe God brought that trial on you to test your faith, to give you confidence.

Today in our devotion we heard a reminder of the importance of treasuring the promises of God and pleading them in our day of trial.

Today for our Monday devotion from Bethany ARP we took a look at Ezra 10:1-5 and how the repentance of those who took foreign wives can be a help to our fight with sin.

Today for our Monday devotion from Bethany ARP we looked at Luke 14:15-24 as we heard about the Parable of the Great Banquet and the blessings of the Free Offer of the Gospel.

Today we looked at 1 Corinthians 6:1-11. In an addendum to the previous concern of church discipline Paul takes a moment to point to the way selfishness and arrogant individualism brings destruction on the sinner.

In today’s devotion we heard a stirring testimony of why the believer must rest and trust in the knowledge of Jesus Christ and see that He is the fullness of our life, both now and forever.
