Tuesday Morning Devotion 4.25.23

Today for our Monday devotion from Bethany ARP we looked at Luke 12:16-21 as we heard about the parable of the Rich Fool and lessons we can draw from his impetuousness and lack of seeking after the Lord.

Today for our Monday devotion from Bethany ARP we looked at the Parable of the Faithful Steward. To whom much is given, much is required, and those who are in Christ must carefully watch over the life they are given.

Today for our Monday devotion from Bethany ARP we took a look at Ezra 10:1-14 as we closed out our time in this book with a word about national and personal holiness.

Today we looked at 1 Corinthians 3:5-17. In this morning’s passage Paul gives testimony to the nature of faith, and why it is important for believers to always look to Christ and His word to build themselves up in grace.

Today we looked at 1 Corinthians 10:1-13. In this passage the apostle is doing two things, first he is teaching the Jews and the Gentiles how to use and read the Old Testament, second he is instructing us not to rely on outward blessings to fight inward battles. We must rest in Christ.

In today’s passage the author of Hebrews tells a striking tale about how even with the great examples of faith we have in the Old Testament, those living now have a pure understanding of God’s gracious love in the promise of Christ.
