Monday Morning Devotion 5.1.23

For today’s devotion from Bethany ARP we looked at 1 Corinthians 3:18-23. Paul here gives a word about worldly wisdom versus that wisdom which come from God. For the believer discerning between the two begins with humility.

Remembering the goodness of God and the assurance found only in His promises are a great help to the facing of our day-to-day problems.

Today for our Tuesday devotion from Bethany ARP we heard a word on Matthew 6:26 from Charles Spurgeon on what it means that God is our Father and why are to find peace and strength in that glorious gift.

In our devotion today from Bethany ARP we heard of the advantages of waiting on the Lord in faith and how we go about the act of waiting is a gift in itself as we meditate on God’s love for us.

On today’s devotion we heard a word from Joshua 5:12 about the way we are to live in light of the peace we have in the Promised Land life found in Christ.

Today in our Monday devotion from Bethany ARP we looked at Hebrews 9:1-4. In today’s passage the author of Hebrews opens up to us a little bit about the divine service and the advantages of new covenant worship.
