Monday Morning Devotion 6.12.23

Today in our devotion from Bethany ARP we looked at Hebrews 10:11-18. We saw how the one sacrifice of Christ is the culmination of the old covenant promises and nullifies the need for any continuation of the ceremonial law.

For today’s Monday devotion from Bethany Church we began to close out our time in Hebrews with Ch. 13:7-17. Paul there reminds us of our duty to support our elders, and that all ultimate authority comes from Christ alone.

In today’s devotion we heard a reminder that our King has won, and that we are receiving the spoils of His victory at the cross. We see this primarily in the way our enemies have no power or ability to harm us.

Today for our Tuesday devotion we looked at Colossians 4:8 and heard a message reminding us of the importance of prayer, and the faithfulness of our Lord in hearing that prayer.

On today’s devotion we looked at Hebrews 4:9 and what the Sabbath rest looks like for the believer as a foretaste of the eternal Sabbath in Christ.

Today we looked at Hebrews 10:1-4 in our morning devotion from Bethany ARP. In today’s passage the author of Hebrews begins to close out his comments on the superiority of Christ to the sacrifices of the old covenant.
