Tuesday Morning Devotion 6.13.23

On today’s devotion we looked at Hebrews 4:9 and what the Sabbath rest looks like for the believer as a foretaste of the eternal Sabbath in Christ.

Today for our devotion from Bethany ARP we looked at 1 Cor. 12:12-26. Paul gives a word of encouragement to the church that we would understand God’s call to each of us and that we might be at peace with our role in His kingdom.

The peace of the Christian is found alone in the one who has called us unto Himself. When we are drawn low by the world and our own sin we have one plea and place for hope.

For today’s Monday devotion from Bethany ARP we heard a word about the superiority of Christ’s death as the Testator to the blood of goats. Plus the dangers of using the old covenant as a template for our worship.

Today for our Tuesday devotion we looked at Colossians 4:8 and heard a message reminding us of the importance of prayer, and the faithfulness of our Lord in hearing that prayer.

Today we looked at 1 Corinthians 11:17-22. In this passage the apostle spends some time chastising the Christians at Corinth for how their divisiveness does not allow for the right spirit to be present at the Lord’s Supper.
