Tuesday Morning Devotion 6.27.23

Today for our devotion from Bethany ARP we looked at Hebrews 8:1-6. In this passage the author of Hebrews reiterates what is gained by Christ being High Priest and what is lost if we maintain our faith in the old covenant.

Today in our Tuesday devotion we heard a word of encouragement from the doctrine of adoption. Being a part of Christ’s family is key to our hope.

On today’s Tuesday devotional we heard a searching word from Charles Spurgeon on the need for humility in the face of God’s grace to us.

For today we heard more on the superiority of the priesthood of Christ to that of Aaron, and why we should never adopt old covenant practices.

On today’s devotion from Bethany ARP we took another look at Isaiah 49:8 as the fulness of Christ and His work was laid on our hearts in grace.

Today we looked at Hebrews 6:1-8. In today’s passage we talked about the need for Believers to move past the elementary principles and embrace the deeper things of the Christian life. Weak sheep make for easy pickings in the day of temptation.
