Monday Morning Devotion 7.24.23

Today for our “What’s That Word?” devotion we looked at the phrase “laying on of hands” from 1 Tim. 4:14 and sought the Biblical foundation for what Paul was referring to there for young Timothy.

Today in our Tuesday devotion we heard a word of encouragement from the doctrine of adoption. Being a part of Christ’s family is key to our hope.

Doing what we need to do to keep the gospel square in the center of all we do means to remember that as we do evangelism it’s not so much the words we use, but the manner of our life that will testify to what we believe about the gospel itself.

For our Monday devotion from Bethany ARP we looked at 1 Cor. 15:50-58. The Apostle encourages believers to remember one of the true blessings of the resurrection which is the peace of knowing our forgiven sin.

Today for our Monday devotion from Bethany ARP we took a look at Ezra 9:1-4 and what baring your soul before the Lord when overwhelmed by the sin of this world looks like.
