Monday Morning Devotion 7.31.23

For today we heard more on the superiority of the priesthood of Christ to that of Aaron, and why we should never adopt old covenant practices.

For Monday’s devotion on Wednesday from Bethany ARP we began to look at Hebrews 7:1-10 and the continuation of Paul’s conversation about the superiority of Christ’s priesthood to the old covenant’s types and shadows.

For our Monday devotion from Bethany ARP we took a look at Ezra 4:1-5 as we see an example of how the civil magistrate is to protect and defend the church of the Lord Jesus Christ as she goes about her work.

Today for our “What’s That Word” Wednesday devotion from Bethany ARP we heard a testimony to the grace and mercy of God in adding Tamar to the genealogy of His Son, amid the sin-filled story of Genesis 38.

For our Monday devotion from Bethany ARP we took another look at Ezra 1:5-11 as we examined further how this portion of God’s Word enriches our understanding of His grace.
