Monday Morning Devotion 8.14.23

In our devotion today from Bethany ARP we heard of the advantages of waiting on the Lord in faith and how we go about the act of waiting is a gift in itself as we meditate on God’s love for us.

Today for our Tuesday devotion from Bethany ARP we heard a word on Matthew 6:26 from Charles Spurgeon on what it means that God is our Father and why are to find peace and strength in that glorious gift.

For today’s devotion from Bethany Church we heard an encouragement from Charles Spurgeon to get to know Jesus better. It’s worth the spiritual blessing to spend time dedicated to improve our knowledge of Christ.

Today we looked at Hebrews 12:3-11. In this morning’s passage the author of Hebrews speaks about the difference between persecution and the Lord’s discipline, and how Christian’s should embrace both.

Today for our Tuesday devotion from Bethany ARP we heard a word from Luke 8:13 about ensuring the ground is ready for the seed to be planted, and where we go to gain the plow.

For Monday’s devotion from Hebrews 6:9-12 we talked about the importance of remaining steadfast in the gospel of Jesus Christ and being thankful for the careful labors of the Lord’s undershepherds.
