Monday Morning Devotion 9.18.23

Today for our Monday devotion from Bethany ARP we looked at the Parable of the Ten Minas from Luke 19 as we heard how we are to approach the gifts the Lord provides and how we are to be active in His kingdom.

Today for our Tuesday devotion from Bethany ARP we heard a word on Matthew 6:26 from Charles Spurgeon on what it means that God is our Father and why are to find peace and strength in that glorious gift.

For our Monday devotion from Bethany ARP we took a look at Ezra 3:8-13 as we saw further how wonderful the house of worship is and why in the new covenant we have even more reason to praise.

Today in our “What’s That Word” feature we answered a question that comes up somewhat regularly, and that is “What about Cain’s Wife?”. We started with Genesis 4 and brought a biblical solution to bear.

Doing what we need to do to keep the gospel square in the center of all we do means to remember that as we do evangelism it’s not so much the words we use, but the manner of our life that will testify to what we believe about the gospel itself.

Today for our “What’s That Word” Wednesday devotion from Bethany ARP we looked at one of the stranger events in the Bible, and that is the appearance of the dead in Matthew 27:52-53.
