Tuesday Morning Devotion 9.26.23

Today in our devotion we heard a reminder from Romans 11 about how the promise of the conversion of ethnic Israel reminds us of God’s covenant assurance in Christ.

For today’s devotion we spent time hearing a word of encouragement about God’s free love for sinners through the shed blood of the lamb.

Today in our devotion from Bethany ARP we looked at Hebrews 7:20-28. There we heard a bit more on the superiority of the high priesthood of Christ vs. the old covenant order of Aaron.

In today’s devotion we heard a reminder that our King has won, and that we are receiving the spoils of His victory at the cross. We see this primarily in the way our enemies have no power or ability to harm us.

Today for our Tuesday devotion from Bethany ARP we looked at 2 Peter 3:18 and heard a word of encouragement from Spurgeon to love Christ first and most.

Today for our devotion from Bethany ARP we looked at Hebrews 8:1-6. In this passage the author of Hebrews reiterates what is gained by Christ being High Priest and what is lost if we maintain our faith in the old covenant.
