Monday Morning Devotion 12.18.23

For our What’s That Word Wednesday feature today we looked at the term “Tophet” from Isaiah 30:33 and what it teaches us about Hell in the Old Testament.

For our devotion today we were challenged to remember the purpose and power of prayer in the life of the believer. God does desire your prayers.

Today for our devotion we looked at Hebrews 5:10-12 and the need for believers to eat meat, and not be satisfied with just milk.

The Thursday devotion from Bethany ARP today looked at the question concerning why it is we have hope in the midst of an everchanging world from Isaiah 45:19.

Today we looked at 1 Corinthians 14:26-33. In this passage Paul speaks to the order that should exist in the worship of Christ’s church. Like all other aspects of the life of our community of faith we are to prefer others before ourselves.

Today we looked at Hebrews 10:1-4 in our morning devotion from Bethany ARP. In today’s passage the author of Hebrews begins to close out his comments on the superiority of Christ to the sacrifices of the old covenant.
