Today in our devotion from Song of Songs 2:3 we heard a testimony of the loveliness of Christ and the way our senses testify to His goodness in faith.
Today we looked at 1 Corinthians 3:5-17. In this morning’s passage Paul gives testimony to the nature of faith, and why it is important for believers to always look to Christ and His word to build themselves up in grace.
Today we looked at 1 Corinthians 6:1-11. In an addendum to the previous concern of church discipline Paul takes a moment to point to the way selfishness and arrogant individualism brings destruction on the sinner.
Mr. Spurgeon makes note that for the believer ironically the hardest times to trust and praise God is when things are well. Christians must remember the fullness we receive in our Lord at all times.
We have difficulty sometime reaching out to God in thanksgiving in days of plenty. Our passage this morning reminds to always rest in Christ.
