Wednesday Morning Devotion 4.3.24

For today’s lesson we walked through Luke 17 and Jesus’ use of Lot’s wife as an illustration about being ready for the coming of Christ in the future.

Today in our “What’s That Word” Wednesday devotion from Bethany ARP we looked at Acts 13 and what ordination is, what it does communicate, what it does not do, and why it is important in the life of the church.

As we hit our second “What’s That Word?” video from Bethany ARP we looked at the question submitted by a young person at Bethany on what the terms “Old and New Testament” mean and how they work today.

Today we looked at 1 Corinthians 1:10-17. In this morning’s passage the apostle gives warning against a party spirit and making anything more important than our identity in Christ.

For today’s devotion from Bethany ARP we heard a plea from Charles Spurgeon to not be so daft to make plans without consulting the God of Providence first.

Today in our devotion from Bethany ARP we looked at 1 Cor. 7:10-16. The nature of the covenant is a mercy to those who love Christ as God’s promises show us why we’re to love our neighbor, especially our unbelieving spouse.
