Wednesday Morning Devotion 4.17.24

Today we looked at 1 Corinthians 14:34-40. In this passage Paul seeks to encourage husbands to be ready, willing, and able to answer their wives’ questions and to lead well in preparing their family to worship Christ.

Today for our devotion from Bethany ARP we heard a word of encouragement about the security of our faith gifted and granted to us by our Father, and in Christ.

Today in our “What’s That Word” Wednesday devotion from Bethany ARP we looked at Job 38:1-13 as we continued a word on A.I. and what the church needs to be thinking about the benefits of A.I., and a few dangers.

For our Monday devotion from Bethany ARP we took a look at Ezra 6:13-15 as we see a blessed example of how the Lord blessed the people with godly prophets, godly elders, and a godly civil magistrate working together to build the Lord’s house.

For our Monday devotion from Bethany ARP we looked at 1 Cor. 16:13-16. The Apostle speaks to the Corinthian church about what it means to be a man and how men are to serve one another, and through that example lead the church.

Today we looked at 1 Corinthians 4:1-5. In this morning’s passage Paul gives definition to the work of the pastor and some of the ways the church can encourage their ministers in their labors of preaching, prayer, and the sacraments.
