Monday Morning Devotion 9.23.24

Today we looked at Hebrews 11:17-22. In today’s passage the author of Hebrews brought forward the examples of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph to illustrate the covenantal continuity of the promises of God.

Today in our “What’s That Word” Wednesday devotion from Bethany ARP we looked at 1 Timothy 2:1-4 and how it is Christians are to pray for those in authority over us and what responsibility they owe to Christ.

Today in our devotion from Bethany ARP we looked at 1 Cor. 7:10-16. The nature of the covenant is a mercy to those who love Christ as God’s promises show us why we’re to love our neighbor, especially our unbelieving spouse.

Today we looked at Hebrews 10:1-4 in our morning devotion from Bethany ARP. In today’s passage the author of Hebrews begins to close out his comments on the superiority of Christ to the sacrifices of the old covenant.

Today for our morning devotion from Bethany ARP we looked at Ezra 8:21-23 as we heard a word about God’s gracious gift of prayer and how He calls us to use it to help in a time of need.

Today in our devotion from Bethany ARP we looked at Hebrews 12:18-25. The author comforts us with a reminder of the reason why we need not fear in this present world, for we are Christ’s and citizens of His living kingdom.
