Wednesday Morning Devotion 10.16.24

Today we looked at Psalm 148:7 and a question which came in about what it means when the Bible talks about “dragons” and their praise of God in all His glory.

Today we looked at Hebrews 12:3-11. In this morning’s passage the author of Hebrews speaks about the difference between persecution and the Lord’s discipline, and how Christian’s should embrace both.

Today for our daily devotion we heard a word from the Apostle Paul on the role of marriage in the Christian life, and why our chief cornerstone must always be Jesus, no matter what we are doing.

For our devotion today from Bethany ARP we heard an encouraging word from Hebrews 13:5 about the importance of keeping near to our heart the eternal promise, “He has said…”.

For our Monday devotion from Bethany ARP we took a look at Ezra 6:1-12 as we see a blessed example of how a godly civil magistrate can be a place of help when the enemies of Christ seek to bring down the Church.

Today in our Monday devotion from Bethany ARP we looked at Hebrews 11:23-29. Here the author of gives an illustration of the nature of covenantal faith by speaking on Moses’s love for Christ.
