Monday Morning Devotion 2.24.25

Today we looked at 1 Corinthians 5:1-8. Church discipline can be controversial, however, the apostle Paul here reminds us of why it is a blessing to the church and the individual mired in sin.

Today for our Monday devotion from Bethany ARP we took a look at Ezra 8:1-14 and heard a word about the courage and reasons why the first families returned back to the land of promise in God’s grace.

For today’s lesson we heard an explanation as to what evening worship is and why we should gather twice a Sunday for God’s blessings. We started with Acts 20:7-12.

For our Monday devotion from Bethany ARP we continued to look at 1 Cor. 15 with verses 20-28. Paul again reminds us of the centrality of the resurrection to our Christian faith.

Today’s word, or words, come to us from John 3:3-13 where Jesus is speaking to Nicodemus. Why this passage? Because today our “What’s That Word” is a series of words, or better said, pronouns… “Thee/Thou/Ye/You”.

For today’s What’s That Word Wednesday devotion from Bethany ARP we heard an explanation as to what is happening in 1 Kings 13 when the man of God is eaten by a lion, while his donkey stands nearby.
