Monday Morning Devotion 6.2.25

Today for our daily devotion we heard a word from the Apostle Paul on the role of marriage in the Christian life, and why our chief cornerstone must always be Jesus, no matter what we are doing.

Today for our What’s That Word Wednesday devotion we looked at 2 Cor. 5:10 and how the final judgment squares with Jesus’ forgiveness and our justification.

Today in our Wednesday devotion from Bethany ARP we looked at Ephesians 2 and a question which came in about the differences between what is called “Monergism’ and “Synergism” and which one we believe in the ARP.

For today’s devotion from Bethany ARP we looked at 1 Corinthians 3:18-23. Paul here gives a word about worldly wisdom versus that wisdom which come from God. For the believer discerning between the two begins with humility.

For today’s devotion we heard a word of mercy from Paul in 1 Cor. 10:14-22 to flee from idolatry, and to do so particularly for the sake of your spiritual union with Christ, who can have nothing to do with demons.

Today we looked at 1 Corinthians 1:18-25. In this morning’s passage the apostle gives testimony to the foolishness of the world and why the Christian faith need not be afraid of them because they are resting in the certainty of God’s promise.
