Monday Morning Devotion 9.29.25

For Monday’s devotion from Hebrews 6:9-12 we talked about the importance of remaining steadfast in the gospel of Jesus Christ and being thankful for the careful labors of the Lord’s undershepherds.

Doing what we need to do to keep the gospel square in the center of all we do means to remember that as we do evangelism it’s not so much the words we use, but the manner of our life that will testify to what we believe about the gospel itself.

Today we looked at 1 Corinthians 2:6-16. In this morning’s passage the apostle parses out the difference between Godly wisdom and worldly wisdom tied up in an encouragement towards seeking the Holy Spirit and mature faith.

Today we looked at Hebrews 9:23-28. In today’s passage the author of Hebrews opens up to us about some dangers of wanting to go back to the old covenant ways.

In today’s devotion from Bethany ARP we looked at Exodus 28:38 and heard a word about being honest about weakness, in worship, in life, etc… because in humility we approach the Savior whose grace sufficient even for these things.

Today we looked at 1 Corinthians 1:26-31. Here the apostle plays the foolishness of the world off the wisdom of God and ask us to consider who we are in Christ and why we rest in Him.
