Monday Morning Devotion 5.11.26

On today’s devotion from Bethany ARP we heard a word of encouragement to take time to consider the blessings of Heaven as the Lord gives us time to remember the goodness of our true home.

For our What’s That Word Wednesday feature today we looked at the term “Tophet” from Isaiah 30:33 and what it teaches us about Hell in the Old Testament.

Today for our Monday devotion from Bethany ARP we looked at Ezra 7:11-26 and heard a word about Artaxerxes and how God can use a righteous pagan king to bless His church as a Foster Father and Nursing Mother.

For our Monday devotion from Bethany ARP we took a look at Ezra 5:3-5 as we see an example in the midst of bureaucratic red tape how we can witness the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

Today we looked at 1 Corinthians 14:26-33. In this passage Paul speaks to the order that should exist in the worship of Christ’s church. Like all other aspects of the life of our community of faith we are to prefer others before ourselves.

Today we looked at Hebrews 12:3-11. In this morning’s passage the author of Hebrews speaks about the difference between persecution and the Lord’s discipline, and how Christian’s should embrace both.
