Monday Morning Sermon Recap – Aug. 24, 2026

For our morning devotion from Bethany ARP today we looked at 1 Corinthians 13:1-13 and the central message of love and how we rightly understand that in the Christian faith.

Today for our daily devotion we heard a word from the Apostle Paul on the role of marriage in the Christian life, and why our chief cornerstone must always be Jesus, no matter what we are doing.

Today for our “What’s That Word” Wednesday devotion from Bethany ARP we looked at Isaiah 30 and the “fiery serpents”. If you have have a word or phrase from the Bible you would like to know more about just let us know.

Today in our Monday devotion we looked at the families returning from the exile and what they can teach us about worship and God’s judgment.

For today’s “What’s That Word” Wednesday devotion from Bethany ARP we took a look at Gen. 9:20-29 and the curse of Ham. This gross violation of the 5th Command gives witness to what covenant breaking nations can look forward to.

Today we looked at 1 Corinthians 12:27-31. In this passage the apostle gives a word of reminder that believers who have been given gifts by the Holy Spirit must use them to build up and not boast, for it damages the body of Christ.
