Monday Morning Sermon Review, August 31, 2026

Today for our “What’s That Word” Wednesday devotion from Bethany ARP we heard a testimony to the grace and mercy of God in adding Tamar to the genealogy of His Son, amid the sin-filled story of Genesis 38.

Today for our What’s That Word devotion from Bethany ARP we looked at Lev. 5:14-17 and a question about what it means when the Bible talks about a trespass offering for “unintentional sin” and how that applies today.

For today’s Wednesday devotion from Bethany ARP we heard an encouraging word from 2 Kings 25 of the way our daily bread provides the sufficient grace we need to survive day-by-day.

Today we looked at Hebrews 10:26-39. In the passage the author of Hebrews expounds on the possibility of apostasy and the dangers of ignoring the warnings of Hell and the certainties of wrath for trampling the Son underfoot.

For today’s devotion from Bethany ARP we looked at the Parable of the Debts from Luke 7:40-50 as we heard a testimony about why it is we should be tearfully joyful to place Jesus first in all things for His forgiveness of our sin.

Today in our Monday devotion from Bethany ARP we looked at Hebrews 5:5-11. In today’s passage we talked about superiority of Jesus Christ as the High Priest and what the Father did in giving Him that authority.
