Today we looked at 1 Corinthians 4:1-5. In this morning’s passage Paul gives definition to the work of the pastor and some of the ways the church can encourage their ministers in their labors of preaching, prayer, and the sacraments.
For today’s devotion we spent time hearing a word of encouragement about God’s free love for sinners through the shed blood of the lamb.
For today’s devotion from Bethany ARP we looked at 1 Corinthians 3:18-23. Paul here gives a word about worldly wisdom versus that wisdom which come from God. For the believer discerning between the two begins with humility.
Today’s devotion from Bethany ARP heard a word from Hebrews 9:22 about how important it is for the Christian to keep the atonement at the forefront of their faith. No shed blood, no salvation.
Today we looked at 1 Corinthians 3:5-17. In this morning’s passage Paul gives testimony to the nature of faith, and why it is important for believers to always look to Christ and His word to build themselves up in grace.

Today we looked at 1 Corinthians 3:1-4. In this morning’s passage Paul bring his complaint against the church at Corinth to bear in warning them against being satisfied with weakness.
Today for our Wednesday devotion (we explain the switch in days at the start of the video) from Bethany ARP we heard an encouragement to rest in the imputed righteousness of Christ, especially when Satan points out our sin.
